When we launched FinanceX Magazine, the ambition was clear: create a cross-border platform where fintech ecosystems could learn from one another, beyond marketing, beyond noise, and beyond borders.
Today, we are proud to celebrate the 20th publication of FinanceX Magazine.
Twenty editions mean more than a number. They represent hundreds of contributors, thousands of readers across Europe and beyond, and a growing network of associations, regulators, innovators, and financial institutions who believe in sharing knowledge as a way to accelerate progress.
A Platform Built on Collaboration
From the beginning, FinanceX Magazine was never designed as a traditional media outlet.
It was built as a collaborative ecosystem.
We partnered with fintech associations, bank foundations, innovation hubs, and industry leaders across Europe and globally. Each edition reflects regional perspectives while contributing to a broader international conversation.
What makes FinanceX distinctive is this model:
Co-created content with local experts
Cross-distribution through partner communities
A strong focus on quality over quantity
Themes aligned with real industry shifts
Over 20 editions, we have covered payments, embedded finance, RegTech, AI, digital assets, PropTech, open banking, and the evolving role of regulators. Each topic was selected not because it was fashionable, but because it was relevant.
A Window into the Market
For many organisations, FinanceX has become more than a magazine.
It serves as:
A scouting instrument for innovation
A way to understand emerging markets
A bridge between startups and institutions
A stage for thought leadership
A tool for ecosystem building
The publication has allowed fintechs to tell their story in a structured and credible way. It has enabled associations to highlight their national ecosystems. It has given regulators and central banks a neutral platform to share perspectives on innovation and supervision.
And importantly, it has created continuity. Twenty editions mean twenty structured snapshots of how the industry is evolving.
From Europe to a Broader Horizon
While Europe has always been a strong anchor, the magazine has gradually expanded its reach. Contributors from Asia, the Middle East, and North America have added new dimensions to the conversation.
This cross-border approach aligns with our broader belief at The Connector: innovation rarely stays within one country. Learning from other markets is essential for product managers, founders, regulators, and investors alike. FinanceX provides that outside-in perspective.
Gratitude to the Community
Reaching a 20th edition is not the achievement of one team. It is the result of an ecosystem that consistently chooses collaboration over isolation.
We thank:
Our association partners
Our contributors and interviewees
The regulators and central banks who shared their vision
The fintechs who trusted us with their story
Our readers across continents
Without this collective effort, FinanceX would not exist.
Looking Ahead
The fintech industry continues to evolve rapidly. Artificial intelligence is reshaping workflows. Regulation is becoming more structured and harmonised. Cross-border scaling remains complex. Innovation cycles are accelerating.
FinanceX will continue to document these developments, not as spectators, but as connectors.
The 20th edition is not a finish line. It is a marker of consistency.
We look forward to the next chapters and to continuing to build this platform together with the global fintech community.
If you would like to contribute to an upcoming edition or explore a partnership with FinanceX Magazine, we welcome the conversation.
